Regional Sales Manager, Western US & Canada
Reporting to the Vice President of Americas

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee and expand partnerships with trade partners across the West Coast, primarily focusing on tour operators. This role is responsible for achieving revenue targets, fostering relationships with key industry partners, and implementing effective sales strategies to increase market share. The Sales Manager will actively promote our brand through engagement with trade partners, support marketing initiatives, and provide exceptional service to build lasting relationships.

Sales Strategy & Market Development
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue within the West Coast territory, aligning with company goals.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the tour operator segment to expand market reach.
- Collaborate with marketing to create and execute promotional campaigns and co-op marketing efforts tailored to trade partners.
Relationship Management & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tour operators and key accounts, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
- Act as the main point of contact for trade partners, providing timely support, information, and training on products and services.
- Organize and attend industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings to represent the brand and strengthen relationships.
Training & Account Development
- Conduct training sessions for trade partners to enhance their understanding of our offerings and encourage active promotion.
- Manage and evaluate account performance, providing feedback and guidance to ensure mutual growth and success.
- Develop and distribute training materials, presentations, and resources for consistent partner engagement.
Market Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity, providing insights and adjusting strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
- Track and report sales performance metrics, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Provide regular updates on key accounts, revenue performance, and market conditions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in sales or business development within the travel industry, particularly with tour operators or trade partners.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and demonstrate success in developing trade relationships.
- Strong understanding of the West Coast market and travel industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required for partner meetings and industry events.
Skills and Requirements: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Experience with DDS and PowerBI preferred.
- Proficiency in French or other languages is preferred.

Candidates must have a valid US Working Visa for the period of the contract.

Salary: Starting Salary 70K (+ Incentive Bonus) commensurate with experience and will include generous company benefits.
